Hard to categorize this one, since one character is technically a fanart and the other belongs to me... ah well. Nevermind!Pretty boys!
Decided to make a more concerted effort to draw more male characters again (mainly because drawing female ones is just too much like a habit for me now - I still (for some reason) find the male form so much harder to draw. But I shall keep going and eventually crack it... it's a hard life, but someone has to do it 
)Still writing silly HotU fanfic - the drow on the left is my character Xen'shai, a Deathsinger (drow bard) and the tall chap on the right is my interpretation of Valen Shadowbreath, a tiefling Weapon Master (now in vest and indecently tight trews because that's what he's wearing right now in the story. Like I said, it's a hard life...
) - as if the title hadn't given it away already, there is definitely no love lost between these two. HB mechanical pencil - couple of hours? Sounds about right.
Valen Shadowbreath belongs to Bioware and is from the game Neverwinter Nights: Hordes of the Underdark.
Xen'shai Aleanath belongs to me.

I'm definitely going to have to check out this fanfic. I'm not a usual fan of certain types of fanfics, but when its done off of a game its different to me and I find myself enthralled. Probably because I already know the characters and its easy to get to loving everything straight away.
I feel kind of bad for Xen though. Valen is a lot taller then him and likely a better fighter by far if they're rivals. Then again I imagine the drow has plenty of charismatic tricks up his sleeve to keep the playing field even.

I really like this... but then again, drows are a weakness of mine.
I love the way that you drew Valen's horns, kinda puts me in mind of the drow/demon hybrid creature I have (and sadly never did nothing with yet..)
Definitely going to fav this.
And about male anatomy, I too have my difficulties with it.

Won't hear any complaints or objections from me on that front. It's a shame that there are not too many drow-themed books out there.

I have no idea. I asked my hubs that question. He never answered. Though, he did once say that women tend to draw men better (yeah I scoffed on that one) and vice versa.

Funny how it works out, isn't it? I think it's because I always drew my RP characters, and initially, I always had female characters, so that is what I concentrated on. I always just end up making my male characters too 'curvy' and they end up looking too feminine... :/
