That is pretty, but not good for the trees, although cirtus growers in Florida will deliberately ice up their fruit to protect it from cold fronts. One of my brothers used to live in Mississippi (Clarksdale, site of the Delta Blues Museum) and they had an ice storm down there one winter. The power went out so his and his family huddled in front of the fire place and listened to tree branches cracking and popping outside.

There were so many trees broken from all the ice and it had to have been thicker the other day cause it had been warm the past couple days.

That is down right scary to a Cajun..lol..Honey, the first sign of even a small flurry (which only happens once in a blue moon) and EVERYTHING shuts down..lol we don't know how to deal with that.

lmao..well here a lot of places shut down when we get 3-4" of snow. I'll post a couple of pics of my yard and car.
