Description "Steamborn", 2019 map for author Eric R. Asher and his Steamborn Trilogy (link ! ).
'was a pleasure to explore a steampunk theme and different color scheme : is it dark ? It's normal !

The summary provided by the client mentionned giant bugs living in the desert : it's one of the main characteristics of the world, so I had to add some on the map and borders. I rembember staring at this bug once I finished it, thinking it reminded me something... the reference was totally unintended, but hey, why not ! ^^

Well... That's a though question. It's the easiest style for me to draw, but I started developping this style 3 or 4 years ago, and I started mapping 15 years ago, so I have a long training behind ^^'

It's all hand drawn in Photoshop with a Cintiq Pro 16
