Description
This is a little experiment I came up with after visiting the salt mine "Wieliczka" near to Krakow.I put the fox in a salt water bath and let it slowly evaporate over the course of a week.
This little guy is a test fold for something else.
Wet-folded from a square of roughly 5 x 5 cm Arches watercolor paper.

Fascinating process - how did you ensure the fox retained its shape over the course of the drying out period?
I adore the effect - the way the little crystals form about the creature and bringing to mind snowflakes and diamonds

Thank you Gabrielle! I was worried about it holding the shape as well but it turns out the watercolor paper is sturdy enough that it doesn't get too soft or change shape.
I actually had snowflakes in mind too. The crystallisation effect is quite interesting so I hope I can experiment more with it in the future.
