Well, depending on what program you use, using that size of lineart is pretty easy. eue; What problems do you have with it?

Yeah, you should practice. I think shading is one of the most fun parts of coloring. I usually look forward to that...Highlights suck though, I never know how to do those right.

Oh...Well, I heard if you make the picture super huge then resize it after you're done, it can make bigger lines appear smaller. XD I've never tried it though.
