This piece is a bit crazier than anything I`ve done before on Pastels...This started as a Tattoo request from a friend here in DA, but as everything w/ me, it went off on a tangent!Here I wanted to do something really dream-like and fantastic, but sticking to the Tattoo requirements of having a Scorpion and a scarf...I guess this is my Dali-meets-Leiji Matsumoto! As girly and pink as this looks, I thought the concept of cuddling to an Arachnid was in sharp contrast to the soft imagery.
I was aiming for something more carefully drawn, but messy is blurry, blurry is dreamy, and dreamy is what I was aiming for

omg this is beutiful. but i must confess this is too much imena, ithisis art,m this is wonder, and i certaily lovthe the scoprio, i am only lookinf for lines, i am not that brave to have a face in my body, Certainly is beitufiland id love to have in in my body if i were a bit more you know, brave

Fixative is what you need for your drawing. But spray it outside because it smells NASTY! Great job on the drawing. Love the colors and the mix of the girl and the scorpion. You can get fixative at any art store.

Thanks!. It was interesting to draw. I wanted to put more detail in the glass flower and the sand (shadow underneath the scorpion and the girl`s head...everything seems to be floating!) but I got lazy!!

I think it's alright without the shading underneath actually, it makes the whole thing more dreamlike
