Description
Here we have Shura, another of the fallen saints, struggling in Limbo for his sins on earth.Shura is punished to fight endlessly in the shores of Limbo. These waters are infested with all sorts of creatures, like the Goat Fish: a fierce, repulsive inhabitant of these shores that crawls in search of victims to devour.
In order to fulfill his punishment, Shura has been given Excalibur, a wedge-shaped weapon sculpted from a rare mineral found in the depths of Limbo`s crust. One of Excalibur`s strange properties is that it appears a bidimentional triangle to a human`s eye.
As Shura gets ready to face his challenge, he dreams of returning to earth...to be suddenly snapped out of it by the beast`s chilling screams.

Oh wow, I absolutely love this piece. The rich, dark colors are perfect for the theme and match well with the story. Your interpretation of the Excalibur is very unique. In most stories its always been known as a sword. It's great to see it as something else. Just perfect is all I can really say.

It reads fine to me, but sometimes it's also good to cap it off. Hard to tell when sometimes.

As ever I love the rich imagery of your artwork! The strong and somber colours nicely befit the Capricorn.
There is just one thing that appears a bit weird - that there is no ripple of the water where Shura stands. Even if it is the frozen Cocytos, it would have looked a bit better imo if there would have been some slight waves aurrouding Shura.
But all in all - a powerful great piece of art again!

Thanks!! this was kinda conscious because I wanted it to look like a flat medieval illustration (well mixed with modern). Thanks though, I`m glad you liked it, I wanted to go for a darker tone with this one!

No probs. I also thought that the liquid in which he is in is very dense and viscous. Also the flame is really unrealistic, but again I was going for medieval.
That finishes my Spectre set, I guess.
