Description Here`s a practice piece I did with my pastels yesterday in about 15 minutes.

I was quite uncomfortable when I drew it because the last two days have been really frustrating: I had to come face to face with all these meaningless limitations that life puts in front of you sometimes. In response, I grabbed my pastels and I furiously sketched this little bird as a symbol of the physical, emotional and spiritual freedom we all deserve.

Well, yeah, I guess that is the main motivator for art! Art is probably born out of the frustration of not being able to execute or accomplish certain goal.

I really love this piece ^^ It has a very classical, traditional feel to it... The vibrancy, the hope it inspires, and the subject itself. This is a very powerful piece, especially when paired with the description of why you drew it ^^ It's a great piece!
