▌ H I S T O R Y
Yoshiro grew up in a normal household, with a father and a mother and a little sister that was seven years younger. He suffered through very little and grew up with parents that loved and cared for him. As a result, Yoshiro became a bit spoiled, always clingy and touchy touchy to his parents and close friends. Physical contact became something he appreciated and took comfort from. Yoshiro's parents ran a simple bakery, and while Yoshiro did get to enjoy many sweets, he had little interest in learning how to bake himself. The only thing that caught his attention was the way his mother decorated the cakes, all nice and neat with colorful fruits and white cream.

Yoshiro spent a lot of time outside when he was younger. He was the class clown when he was in elementary school, soaking up every bit of attention his peers and teachers gave him. There was no exact reason for this yearning for attention, as he had been an only child then. He was influenced by television, by the stand-up comedians his father watched at night, and was amazed by the jokes that made others laugh. He started making jokes and puns then. At that time, Yoshiro was quite popular with his classmates, always outgoing and laughing. He made several close friends who he frequently played with. Before he could bond with them even more however, a school project popped up, and took a lot of his free time away. It was a group project to promote nature and interaction between different grades, and the goal was to plant a tree and take care of it for a year. The teachers would randomly group six kids together.

Yohsiro hated the project, and in turn, disliked the group members he was stuck with. He had wanted to be placed in a group with his friends, but instead, he was stuck with... a foreigner, a toddler, a plant obsessed weirdo, a quiet kid, and someone who he could probably get along with if the older boy had been a bit younger. Yoshiro had cared too much about appearances then, and about the power someone older had. There was a hierarchy, and Yoshiro didn't want to be on the bottom. He struggled to get along with the others, though most of that was due to his own stubbornness and pettiness. But a year was a long time, and being a rather simple minded kid, Yoshiro began to get used to the dynamic the group had. It was fun sometimes, and after that thought set in, Yoshiro became less stubborn and went with the flow. His efforts to stay connected to his other friends slowly stopped as Yoshiro began to enjoy his time with his group members more. His other friends in turn made new friends, so the break was peaceful and clean.

The friendship the six had survived through middle school and Yoshiro became more complacent with his position. He grew and matured of course, but he was still that same little boy who enjoyed puns and pranks. Yoshiro began to show a little interest in baking, and his parents took advantage of that eagerly. They would train him to mix, to knead dough and to bake. It was tough, but Yoshiro found that baking was something he actually enjoyed. What he liked most of all was how the cakes and bread looked at the end, and the happy smiles of those who purchased them at the bakery.

Time passed, and Yoshiro grew closer to his friends and even to some of their families. Hotaru left to take care of his grandfather, and Yoshiro grew slightly antsy. It was the first time that one of his childhood friends was so far from him. Worried that Hotaru might become lonely, Yoshiro constantly talked to him and held group calls. When Hotaru came back, he was... different, more withdrawn and closed off. Yoshiro became even more scared of parting with his friends, worried that they might all change by the time they came back. Then, something even worse occured. In his first year of highschool, Tamato's mother had a relapse and died from breast cancer. It was the first time Yoshiro had seen Tama so upset. Everyone in their group was upset to be honest, but it hit Tamato most of all. Years passed, and while Tamato seemed to have recovered a bit, Yoshiro was still worried. Yoshiro grew even more protective of his friends, always talking to them and bugging them about the most random things. While Yoshiro enjoyed his time with his friends, he was also terrified of the prospect of parting with them.

He didn't want it...

Eden went to Canada for training. His friends were another family and Yoshiro--

They could open a cafe even, the idea was funny.

All he could feel was worry and a cool sort of anger that warmed until it burned. Yoshiro understood his reasons, he knew how much Tamato's mother meant to him (she meant a lot to all of them) but--

But it was so stupid, risking his livelihood and future for a dream that may not be fulfilled in the end. Yoshiro couldn't help but worry about Tamato's future. What if the cafe failed? And quitting college? Did he really know how much debt he would have to carry? A young man barely in his twenties trying to run a cafe without prior experience was suicidal in Yoshiro's opinion. He wanted to refuse. Yoshiro wanted to yell at Tamato some more, but he knew that Tamato would not stand down. He was quite stubborn after all. So...what else to do? Avoid him? Sulk? It wasn't like Yoshiro could change Tamato's mind. Probably no one could. Yoshiro took in a deep breath. Ah, the things he did for his friends.
