As for me, lineless painting is like way faster : o But on the other hand it's more difficult to draw neat and detailed pictures without lines. But in general, I prefer no lines. :ะท
I really like how you drew clothes and hair ; u ;

I don't have any special technique : O I guess I just got used to lineless art since I draw this way for almost two years. At first it was like very messy and disproportionate and sketchy, though.
I also like colouring sketches a lot :ะท

Ahhh I see ; v ;ย
Well you probably do have some kind of technique since you've been doing it for 2 years o:ย
I usually don't stick to the same way of doing things tho, somehow I'm not too focused on consistency atm ; A ;ย
I don't even know what kind of style I want really / A \

Not really, since my drawing style changes and with time I find some easier or prettier ways to draw, so technique also change. The only thing that stays as it is is lack of lines : ะ
I don't know what style I want, too :"CC I just know it's going to be somewhere between anime, semi-realism and original, but I can't even imagine my future style, since I don't really want to copy others and I can't invent something new from nothing : O

Ahh I see ; v ;ย
I'm pretty sure about wanting to have a manga/anime style but even that is a very wide category, there are so many different styles you can build
But I would like to have a style flexible enough so that I can draw semi-realistic stuff too * ^ *ย
About copying, if the reason you feel you shouldn't is because of that stupid 'rumour' that artists shouldn't copy because it's cheating/hinders originality...then that's a stupid reason ; v ;ย
Obviously you shouldn't just pick one artists and mimick their style, i mean that is thievery ; A ;ย
But I think that it's very important to observe how other artists solve problems, how they stylize different things etc.ย
And here and there you'll pick up things you like and incorporate them into something your own ; v ;ย
I honestly feel that a lot of my improvement happens simply thanks to observing other artists' artworks roaming on pixiv for hours on end ahaha
recently i've also started doing practice copies/breaking down other's works but it's a really frustrating thing ahahah
sorry for rambling so much aksdaskkj

I totally agree with you. It's a great way to study through observation of other artist's work and maybe even copying sometimes (just for practice, without posting it online). I was just talking about style and for me it'd be better not to choose one "ideal" style to reach, but to pick up different things I like and mix them and make something original C:
