Ah, that is what I was missing: fan portrayal. I really don't know much about the TD crew as most of them do not appeal to me. Maybe if I read their back stories I would be more interested (I did this with Koishi and I learned that she isn't conscious of her actions. This was very interesting, but also very sad.)
