History:

Harumi grew up in a decent family that consisted of only her mom; we don’t talk about her dad. Her mom was nice, but tended to neglect her daughter for work, but at least it was to support Harumi. Harumi was a generally good student throughout her elementary school years—not too smart but not stupid, never spoke out of turn, or get into fights… then middle school came around. She had become addicted to online gaming. Literally addicted, like to the point where she would skip school just to play her games. Her grades began to suffer. In the end, due to not really being taught what was right or wrong, and within the span of three years, was the head of a band of misfits just like her: gamers with incorrect morals. The five delinquents had skipped more days of middle school than they had been in it, mostly just sitting around in an old building across town playing online games and smoking weed throughout the day. After a while, the five members had decreased to three; the other two went back to focus on school. Shortly after, the last two got into a major argument which had lead into a full blown physical fight. Before Harumi had managed to stop the fight, one had two shattered bones and a busted lip, and the other had a large cut across his face. The gang had to be dismissed afterwards. Harumi ended up hanging out in the gang’s meeting for the next few months until deciding to drop out of school all together in her 1st year of high school. She felt that she had already learned what she had needed to survive, therefore decided it would be a waste to stay in school. Her mother was very upset about it, but had accepted it in the end and continued to let her stay; after all, her daughter was still too young to live on her own.
Basically for the next two years, Harumi had been cooped up in her room either playing more online games, playing on her phone that her mom had recently got her for her birthday, or smoking in her closet. Of course, she went outside once every two weeks to get some fresh air or whatever. She and her mother had gotten into an argument over Harumi’s health, and in a passive aggressive fit, she had left the house “to get more fresh air and exercise”. She actually did begin to calm down. Sort of. If she had any weed on her, she probably would've been completely relaxed, but oh well. Harumi's phone began to ring suddenly, and, assuming it was her mom, she answered irritably.
"What do you want, mom?" she snapped, waiting expectantly for her mother's voice.
"D... w..t... o... l..ve?"
...What? Why was her phone glitching out so bad?? This was so stupid.
"Mom, I don't know what the hell you're--"
"D... w..t... o... l..ve?"
"Wha-- yeah, fine, sure, I'll be home soon, okay mom? Bye," she spoke in a rush before hanging up quickly.
Harumi never made it home that day. As she turned around and began to walk back to her house, it had hit before she could even process what had happened. Harumi went flying through the front shield window of a nearby car, in the end shattering most of her spine and "dying" from the impact.
