PATIENT: Most would think he's brash, but he is incredibly good at biding his time and will wait forever and a day. Be this waiting for revenge or for his allies to pull through.
BLUNT: Not one to mince words, he will give you his honest opinion when asked and often when not asked, positive or negative. It doesn't help that he still doesn't have the best social skills either.

Biography:
Born to a Russian mother and a Chinese father, his very evident mixed blood has brought him some troubles in life, but they're minor compared to how he grew up. He has lived his entire life in the unstable regions and countries formed after the Soviet Union collapsed. At a very young age, he was separated from his parents and has little memory of them (whether they are alive or dead, he doesn't know nor cares). He grew up going from faction to faction, from one civil war to another, fighting and just struggling to simply keep living to the next day. Having a nature knack for sniping, along with fixing and re-purposing old weapons helped a great deal, but life was still incredibly hard and there were many times he wasn't sure how he made it out alive. It should have been hell, but it wasn't because of the support from his chosen brother and sister. A terrible battle and resulting wound separated him from his family. He found himself in the care of a mysterious relative but wanted nothing but to return back to his family in the battlefield. The relative soon gave up and dumped him at Milizia, hoping the academy could tame the wild boy.

It had been a terrible struggle getting used to not only the academy but completely new life too. He was rebellious and unruly, utterly unwilling to accept his new surroundings, and quickly making several enemies. But far worse was being away from his family, leaving him close to an internal wreck and doing a number of questionable things in an attempt to be reunited with them. However with the help of Officer Julia Deery, things began to slowly turn around, much to his own surprise and dismay. The academy started to gain value to him, being a place where he could gain resources and learn skills that could lead to a better life for him and his family. While he didn't necessarily get along with many of the other students, they no longer needed to be held at arm's length away. After the sudden realization that Officer Deery would graduate and leave before him, he put himself through rigorous and obsessive study to jump to Senior level early. With Deery's close help, he was able to jump to junior but not senior due to his poor writing skills. However his high practical level and overall performance for the term did catch the attention of the higher ups and with Deery's recommendation and approval, he was made officer.

During the attack on Milizia, he helped raid the ship, providing firepower and cover. Still, he and his team were unable to fully penetrate the defenses to get try and defuse the bombs on board. Oddly, despite that, the incident helped cement his loyalty to the academy, and falling more in line with the academy's core values even if he tends to disagree with how they might be achieved. While he still always remembers and longs for his family out in the field, he's found new members to his family at the academy as well. And has been moving towards a specialization in low-tech, low-maintenance weaponary and specialized ammunition for snipers.
