With worshiping eyes, they meet each other's gaze and join hands as she glides towards him, towards the ground. He pulls her close, smiling a tiny, disbelieving smile. He hopes that this is real, that she won't disappear like she seems to have the tendancy to do.

She's smiling, too, and the expression is reassuring and comforting, as if she knows how scared he is that she won't reach the ground. She squeezes his hands and mumbles his name, feeling the extreme, discomforting brightness of Heaven leaving her, darkening her to match the boy she loves. She likes it better this way, anyhow.

Feathers start falling from her unwanted wings. She's home. Her feet touch the warm earth and she falls forward into his arms, loving him and saying so.

"I'm not going anywhere. I'm staying with you. I love you!"

Naruto opened his eyes in the dark room and rolled over in his huge expensive bed until one of his arms was draped over his wife's slender, sleeping form. It was good to feel her there, not in any kind of danger, snoring gently. It'd been so many years since that day, that scary, horrific day. The day he'd almost lost her before he ever really had her.

His eyes pricked with tears at the memory of the dream. "Hinata?" he whispered in the darkness, smiling as she squirmed and drowsily looked at him. Her pale eyes glowed like minature moons.

"...I love you, sweetie," Naruto murmured, leaning down to kiss her cheek.

Hinata smiled groggily and yawned, turning back over to close her eyes. "Love you too, honey," she mumbled, half-asleep.

I drew this about five seconds after "What You Said" , but just now finished it. Luckily, chapter 438 didn't ruin it all!!
