In the internet previews, before going to watch the movie, I saw some Thranduil fighting orcs videos. During the movie, in the theatre, I kinda expected him suddenly appear in Lake Town and help his son against the orc who make his nose bleed. It didn't happen ;A;Well, it's just in the film they don't have any father-son interaction... so sad! (This is what happens when you watch a film with a character after reading so many fanfictions where he is portayed so differently... but I regret nothing! >.< )
Here Legolas is ashamed because his Ada decided to make the dreaded "parental face-cleaning" in front of the royal guards probably xDD
Oh, and no, Legolas sword is not missing here... maybe is in the floor (to lazy to draw it? Never!xD)
Edit: Some people told me the text should be "And if she befriended a dwarf, would you do the same?" Sorry for the grammar mistake!

At first glance I think, this is a very well drawn and in character representation of Legolas and his father. Based on the skills of the visual image, the accompanying conversation should also be intriguing. Then I read it and realise how much of a dork I probably would sound to those who already know what it is. Great work! Very amusing!

I completely agree with the lack of father/son interaction. I was SO looking forward to Thranduil and accepted (in fact welcomed) Legolas as it made sense for him to be there...but Tauriel makes my blood boil!!!!!! She is one of the main things (along with many others) that destroyed the films for me.
But I'm sorry for ranting, I'm loving your gallery and will be back to see more when I have time

I like they include a female character in the Hobbit movie (in the book female characters are non-existent) but I don't like the fact it must be a love story because of a female character introduction.
