Alfred F. Jones (aka America) is a complete spastic case who only seems to care about heroics and hamburgers.Though there are times when you have to wonder if it's all just an act to mask his true self.

I know! I like Hetalia for it's quirky humor, but in the flashbacks, there was the potential to be dramatic and serious. And America didn't seem to have the ADD like he has in the present.
I like goofy America, but goofy America with a dark side is so much more interesting XD

For being such a young country, America has fought many wars. Revolutionary, War of 1812, Civil, World Wars, Korean, Vietnam, Gulf, Afghanistan/Iraq.
That's like--a war every 20-30 years since America was founded. O_o
It could very well change someone.

Hehe! I really think they do. They're both child-like in their own ways, both were once the only two super-powers in the world. And both nations have committed their fair share of destruction.
So yeah, they're not quite as different as some might think!

Yeah, I've been toying with an idea for a fanfic where Alfred is more playing a role than being himself- mainly because it's easier to get your way when people think you're stupid and naive. (Or at least he already knows what people's reactions will be.)
