done by adobe photoshop.

you might want to make the shoulders a little bit smaller and fade the edges of the shadow a little more

I really like this in the painterly style, and for some reason I kinda see the shadow as a representation of the blackblood, or insanity. Something always there, that can be frightening...But I read deeply into things...Even with nothing to read into, lol.
