Isn't Ratatosk the selfish asshole who wants to kill humankind because Richter pwned him badly? Does not sound cute to me. Emil is cute, but he is bad ass and has no conscience.
He just gets influenced by Emil, who sorta is his conscience and gets through most of the time.
This is also the reason Emil sealed him away in his heart. To kiss Marta. No, wrong line... To be Ratatosk himself and make a good Ratatosk.
By the way, at that kissing scene she asks to make a pact with him. Did she mean a pact as a Knight of Ratatosk? That would work to have her close to him
