Nice design! I really like your coloring style. I quite envy it, lol. I like that you took the bounce light from the clothes into consideration (as seen on his torso, for instance). The textile designs are also a nice touch and gives even more interest to this guy. Awesome stuff!

The character design is so striking and unique ! The colors work very well together and the patterns along with the stripe face tatto give this character a mysterious feel ! And by the way, allow me to compliment you on your anatomy style ! There are so many anatomy styles one can go for especially in the anime or cartoon world but yours is one of my favorite ! What is the secret to your coloring? I've always liked how you do metals. Do you have anyone who's inspired your particular style?

I just try to mimic the mangaka's standard of coloring...
they use copic markers, so I just try to make something similar,
Tite Kubo, Kazue Kato... Katsura Hoshino... Takeshi Obata...
Although I don't intend to make exaclty the same, I just use this standard as a basis.

I use PhotoShop...
But I think Paint Tool Sai and Corel Pinter are probably better for this kind of technic.

Corel Painter has some interesting brushes that emulate copics and other tools...
Maybe it is an old software... I don't know...
You can try other softwares, but what I can say is that the painting processes are quite the same, regardless the software.
