Oh, das its ganz einfach. Ich nehm einfach die Form, mache sie braun und stell dann in Photoshop beide Farben, die man auswΓ€hlen kan auf zwei zueinanderpassende BrauntΓΆne ein. Dann geh ich zu Renderin-filter und mach fasern. macht meisten einen besseren Holzeffekt, als elendes, stundenlanges rumgeschmiere.
Die Wasserspiegelung ist genauso einfach. Einfach ein verwackeltes netzt auf die oberflΓ€che malen und mit dem gauschen weichzeichner bearbeiten, dann transparent machen! Fertig!

Aww, it's so sweet! Ariel's expression is priceless.
The background really makes the scene intimate; I get the feeling that the whole world is shut out behind the willow leaves. It's a fitting mood for these two. ^^
I like how you did the clothes, too. They're nice and loose--both Ariel and Eric look very relaxed.
Good job on the rich texture of the boat as well. I just love everything about this piece.
