Sorry for the multiple uploads! D: Just had to edit it a lot due to crappy scanning, fffail. :COhhh yeaaaah My Little Pony f-f-fe-fever!!!
Rainbow Dash as what I imagine her to look as a human. Excuse the slight blueish tint to her skin, i smudged blue in by mistake, but hey shes supposed to be blue so doesnt matter too much!
...Pinkie Pie is actually my fave but c'mon.. DAT RAINBOW HAERS and mane of hers! hurr

And I dislike drawing people, i cant draw em, gah!

Draw more humans? NUUUUU theyre impossible to draw...especially the males, dem nekkid bodies are impossible to draw!
Maybe draw the other My Little Ponies when inspiration strikes again, til now back to fantasy creatures, hazaar!

Practice, you should take some life drawing, its slightly scarey and embarassing but it really helps...except them naked men are still nasty scarey to draw haha!
But Im sure youre fine at drawing people! D:

How do you achieve those colours? They're so..idk, vibrant and solid..

Ahh thankyou! Human anatomy is an ass to get right, especially males, dem nekkid bodies are impossible to get right, even with life drawing!
I just go over and layer the colours and mix different pencil brands together. Then when the colour gets lost by scanning I go onto photoshop>Image>Adjustments>colour balance etc to bring it back to life

Yeah its all fine drawing a chick, but I could never get over drawing a guy, everyone else seemed cool with it but I always freaked out a little, oh gosh must still be a child at heart! D:
Good to see you have taken life drawing though, its so very helpful!
And with your scanner, do you possibly know someone who works at a company or factory? You could ask them to scan and email it to you on their big A3 scanner/printer/photocopiers. the quality comes out so much better and bigger pixels too! I do that with my dads work printer and he emails it at home to me because my A4 scanner just eats everything!

possibly, my X teacher told me the majority of animators out there are male! Maybe its just down to the style of art.

Curse traditional..erm, stereotypes. I think Victorian is one of my favourite eras, but I wouldn't have wanted to be born in that time because of women not having their say.
Which is probably why my Literature tutor said to me that 'ALL women should be feminists' xD

Victorian era is also one of my faves! The houses, fashion, everyhting about it was beautiful, but youre right being a women in that era would have sucked a bit!

You dislike drawing people, and yet you draw them so well~ Seriously, the anatomy barely has any errors, and even if there were, people would be staring at how awesomely you colored the hair or wings to even notice!

haha I dont mind the sketching of them, though still learning and can barely draw men! D: Its the colouring thats irritating, much more fun colouring an animal/vreature

Sure you've gotten this question before, but do you scan your sketch in and then ink it on the computer? Then print it back out to color it? I was just looking at the sketch of this and was thinkin, man... that would suck to erase all that lead.

Nah what I do is take the original sketch and with my lightboard copy the basic lines onto better quality paper(I just use watercolour paper) then I ink it from there and colour. So the sketch gets left untouched and un rubbed out, which saves a lot of time and woe of having to rub out a whole sketch! D:
