Did this pic for a freaking long time, from 4+pm all the way to 3am...Did it on corel painter 9...used water colour and air brushes...had over 100 layers...
For my assignment in school, Colour Theory...really tired after doing it...braindead...have to do another one but it's indoor painting instead...
I used Miyazaki's style and a bit of my own to create it...used orange as my monochromatic colour...
Hope to learn more in stuff in my course so I can apply it to my future drawings...maybe next time can do nicer background for my fanarts...

wahahs! so cute! I like the little chairs and things in the shop! very neat coloring! 100 over layers! ZOMG! You are crazy! hai.. Mine like 16 layers nia! last min work... I wish I spent more time on mine... Oh. it looks a little flat too. Rmb teacher say shud have some fore, mid and back ground?Maybe u should change the angle of view a little?

Lol, thanks...yeah, it looks a bit flat cus I missed out a few perspective lines for the building...will apply the rules better for the indoor drawing...

Wow neat too! I think the colors really suit the entire scene and the rooftop and leaves really look like miyazaki's style! Great job!
