The scene from past when they were working at a same hospital as a doctor and nurse.
Medical jobs are stressful. Even night didn't allow them to sleep, when there were emergency cases. After work, they often smoked together to comfort their tired souls.

I like drawing backgrounds.
Backgrounds tend to be underrated than characters. They don't receive audience's attention as much as characters do. But they are very important to give the deep mood and story to the picture.
I'll be glad when my or other artists' handdrawn backgrounds receive more attention!

And you may wonder what is the white surrounding in this picture? - I tried a new way to display my art here.
Since the problem of my art being misunderstood as digital often happened, I seek a better way to impress my art as traditional. (It's honestly sad when my traditional effort isn't visible to people. T_T)
I usually crop my art to full-color square, but this time I dared to keep a pure un-drawn paper. It's closer to how this art looks like on sketchbook.
Not sure how often I'll use this style, but this time it goes well with this dark background.
