Sketch-a-Doodle Commission for DrummerMax64 Thanks so much for commissioning me again! I love drawing sleepy Nick HeheSo here we got Nick being pampered by his Bun. Judy sitting on the couch, legs folded and Nick using her lap like a pillow. (thus why half of Judy has disappeared beneath her lovely Vulpine lol)
P.S: I imagine that the muzzle of a fox is kind of lowkey the scariest part of a vulpine for a bunny. It would instinctively trigger a sense of fear. So to have Judy resting her paw right on his muzzle, new his nose is a huge sign of trust from our lil Bun <3

Something to keep in mind: Both of these are strong, independent individuals.
But when put together, in private, they can open up and show just how vulnerable they are.
This is also a great example of Judy showing compassion for Nick. I wouldn't be surprised if Nick never had anyone like that in his adult life, someone who sincerely cared for him this much.

it looks like there's no other place in the world that Nick or Judy would rather be right now. I love it.
I adore the lighting here. Foxes tend to relax better in dark/low-light places and I'd have to imagine that was one of the things that Judy looked for when figuring out a living situation with her foxy.
This just gets all kinds of creative thoughts flowing for me! Merci!

And Judy is at complete peace near the Nick's teeth. I kinda imagined that as well, partner or not, it can still trigger some baser instincts, but we see that she's far from terrified.

This is just so soft and fluffy and not because they're cute furry little critters. So heartwarming I'm going to melt! I love seeing these two in casual wear and I LOVE relaxed poses like this, makes me want to nap >u> The way Judy softly pets his head in his sleep and rests her paw on his muzzle is precious. I agree, being so close and intimate with Nick like this and her paw on his muzzle is quite the show of trust, which adds to the "I'm going to melt!" feeling I feel when I see this. I imagine that when Nick sleeps near (or on) her he thinks about his life and how it's been rough and he's been strong and hardened himself against the world, but in this moment every facade is dropped and he lets himself feel truly relaxed, almost as if Judy is keeping him safe. When he's near Judy he knows that the hard times are over and he's finally happy, he found someone who saw him more than just a shifty two faced fox but for so much more than that. I think Judy is aware of this as well, thus the petting and comforting him, feeling his muscles release all of their tension as he just melts into the couch and her lap. Probably the best damn sleep he gets every single time XP I think it's safe to say that I really enjoyed this pic, not just incredibly well done, but deeper and thought provoking as well. Now that's true art :3

Its always nice to come home after a long days work and to be pampered by your lovely bunny while drifting away in her lap. This scene is so heartwarming. lol, also, he is almost to big for the couch. well done winter, you always make these two look amazing together.
