I know Royal!Vegeta has been done to death, but I wanted to have a go at drawing my own version anyway XD When your favorite character is a prince, you just gotta take advantage of the fact, you know?Sorry for the unoriginality, though...
At first it was just Veggie, but he was looking kinda bored there all on his lonesome so I added Bulma in... Yay
I dunno where the outfit ideas came from. I never use references so I just made them up as I went (GAH). Sorry for the retardedness.
Well, anyway.. drawing details is time-consuming but fun. Even so, don't even get me started on Bulma's frickin' dress... ...I swear, toning undid all of the effort I put into drawing those frilly thingies....
I have a feeling coloring this will be a nightmare.
I'll probably edit the sketch a bit later and purge the overlooked crap.
By the way, the title refers to this .
EDIT [September.07.09]: After laboring for hours and hours, I finally managed to clean it up and fix a whole bunch of stuff. UGH it seriously took forever!
But hopefully it looks a lot better now.I'll edit it once more, like I usually do, before adding color. And at least that should be a lot easier now that it's clean...

I promised to comment on this so I decided now is as good a time as any!
I love this deviation! I don't agree that it's unoriginal although I guess since I haven't seen that much DBZ fan art I have nothing to base my disagreement on. If you just drew Vegeta than the drawing wouldn't stand out as much but since you added Bulma that made the drawing whole in my opinion. The fact that she is on the side makes Vegeta stand out more and gives him more presence as a prince. I think Vegeta really looks good in this, you really managed to capture his egocentric nature and his power.
I prefer the black and white version of this pick more because it's more bold and that I think makes the characters stand out better.
Also Bulma's dress turned out really well, it was worth the effort you put in!

It's not so much that I've seen many pieces like it but that I just... I dunno, it just felt unoriginal. It's hard to explain, but maybe you know what I mean.
I dunno which version I prefer myself. XD I like and hate stuff in both.... I wish I could merge them, lol.

Yeah, I noticed them too - but I'm working on fixing it as I type! XD That along with a whole bunch of other stuff.. Hopefully the edited version will look better!

I know that there's a prequel series of Hellsing called "The Dawn", but I don't think I'm going to read that one. At least not anytime soon. I don't really want to see Alucard as a teenage girl...

That's Alucard and Walter. WTF? I know. The author of Hellsing is kind of a weirdo, (actually he's more of a freak, really,) and he enjoys male characters that turn into cute little girls, or cute little catboys.

But Hellsing itself was good so I tried to ignore that... lol .__.
...I gotta say though, I'm actually pretty interested in the prequel, now that you showed me that. Despite the fact that Alucard is totally not tall and awesome-like D: It just sounds so weird, I can't help but wonder about it, lol. I guess then it's mainly those two? Oh, and is this prequel in manga or written form?
I usually order stuff online too, but unless I buy like a billion things at once it stays expensive...

And I heard that they'll include some scenes from The Dawn in one of the OVAs! I'm not looking forward to seeing Alucard as a chick, but Walter was a cuuuutie!
The Dawn is about young Walter and Alucard destroying the Nazi army 50 years ago. So I guess they'll have some of the Nazi characters too. Ugh, if so, I really don't want to see anymore of the Major =.= Yeah, I REALLY hate him that much! lol.
Buying stuff online isn't cheap either, but it's better than buying them at the store. My Hellsing mangas cost $8 a volume. So that times 10 is.... pretty damn expensive!

At the end of the 3rd OVA in the credits there's a shot of young Walter XD hope that means there's a flashback in the 4th OVA? Ah, don't answer that, I'll see tomorrow...
For me it gets even more expensive, cause the volumes are priced the same but in Euros... It's probably cost me like over a 100 dollars for all the volumes...
