Jim Chapman from the Resident Evil Outbreak series is pretty much one of the worst characters ever made, unless you're lucky enough to know his coin trick. If you can find time enough during the monster attacks to have him flip his coin three times and make it come up Heads each time, Jim becomes a two-fisted killing machine.

The often scared and screaming Jim becomes a master of melee weapons and can beat enemies like a speed metal drummer if the coin trick works. I decided to put Jim in the Underground Level of Outbreak File 2 where mutated fleas and zombies attack you in the dank darkness of the wrecked subway tunnels.

I wantd to show the scared but triumphant Jim standing over one of the baby fleas after beating it to death with some steel pipes. I really wanted to show the sparse lighting in some spots by using a lone halogen light in the stairwell as his only source of illumination in the filthy tunnel access.

Once again I used inkwash over brush and pen inks.
