I have this page of stuff where James apologizes to Lily after Snape tries to in the hall, about messing around with Snape. It does not go as planned, and Lily just gets more pissed off at James. (I'll make it pretty and post it someday). But this would be after Jame's humbling experience.Maybe they get to talking. But nothing too serious, I would think. Maybe, "hey, you're really good at potions, Evans." "You're good at not getting in my way, Potter."
