its amazing how being naked lets one see every shape and contour (specially on her abdomen and waist) twist and turn with every movement, drawing beautiful lines all over her body...

ill tell u that time flowed by swift and sweet by watching it

Yeah, it's pretty cool - I love watching the way her breasts shift on her ribcage. It's just captivating.

This was pure genius; the best visually animated production I've seen in a while. I watched it from my new WS, with no sound and it was as captivating as if it had a symphony playing in the background.

What a talented and well shaped model you chose for this.

Love the well executed ending.

I think the perfect music for the Background is the slow violin Part of "Vingretto - Nature"

love this film.
very nice acting of the model. nice light and shadow .

oooh, slow violins would be nide, too. I don't know the Vingretto. Should I get it?

I'm going to be doing more of these. Figuring out how to sync to music that is 10x faster than you are - is really hard!

And another note here, I've watched this 4 times and I have to say music would have ruined it for me. I think if there was sound it would distract the viewer from looking at the finer points of the subject at hand. Use your eyes and not your ears type of thing. Also, I wish that we lived closer because I'm a contortionist and would love to work with you! *bows*

mjranum In reply to MissNight [2010-02-06 18:18:52 +0000 UTC]

Well, then you're lucky DA doesn't have an "update" option for the videos - I did a couple of takes jamming on my synth setup and did a few drumbeats and riffs that I thought went with it but didn't suck too much. But I can't upload the new version without deleting the old.

My next slow-mo dance will have music, but I'll try to keep it tasteful. I've come up with a pattern set of guqin and thunder and rain sounds that I'm pretty happy with.

I wish that we lived closer because I'm a contortionist and would love to work with you! *bows*

Oh, wow! How wonderful! I'd love that a whole lot. I have zentai!

Do you ever come east? One thing about living where I do is that I can be 100% certain that nobody is ever coming here. New York or Washington or even Pittsburgh - but never here.

My good friend and musician Scott Erickson lives in Allentown, PA. One day I'll be flying out there I know for sure, but don't know if that's anywhere near you. So maybe that could be a fun experience for us to meet up and do a shoot or something!

This was very beautifully done m'dear. I can't critique a single thing in this. I can only say, and this is just my opinion and nothing more, that I would have LOVED to see it in black and white, more of her back, and to add some really tight macro shots at the end. But this is sincerly beautiful and a great peice of art work. I judged the Seattle Erotic Arts years ago once and this would have taken a HUGE place. I can't wait to see what you do next and am wondering if this is going to be any part of a series of works? I wouldn't say no to seeing them Thanks again!

I had it projected on a wall with a projector, once, and that looked pretty darned cool. Never occurred to me to enter something like this into a show. Hm.

Get in contact with art meuseums and galleries. Depending on the quality you show and your intent to sell etc they will usually jut let you show for free. Get some exposure, it will help you at winning shows and all that.

Simply amazing idea put into an awesome set Marcus. And Yarrow is just simply amazing in her movements. Such self confidence and beauty is such a dangerous thing to the fragile mind of the artistic.

AngelaSasser [2010-02-04 16:30:09 +0000 UTC]

It's simply hypnotic how she turns in ever so subtle motions revealing peaks of light on her form that are swallowed up by darkness moments later.

It's a really nice touch how she fades to the bottom at the end, as if the darkness is reclaiming her.

I hope we'll see something in this vein as far as 'dancing' in your stock vids! This just has be abuzz with the urge to draw something

I kept putting music to this in my head, which is something it seems you're considering doing. I really like the idea of deep subtle base and raindrops, as you mentioned.

My mind actually put this to Intertwine by Beat Antiques. The slow ambient start to that song seems really suiting to me. (It's here if you're curious: [link] )

I posted an ad today on craigslist for "people who can do cool motion stuff" - dancers and martial artists. Cross your fingers.

I really like the idea of deep subtle base and raindrops, as you mentioned.

I have been sitting here editing patches on my MC-505 all afternoon.

I didn't like this for some reason. The lighting was perfect, but her dance did not appeal to me I guess. Also, the frame rate (I think) made it a little choppy, not as smooth as it might have been.

Not to offend (I hope) typically I enjoy your work a lot

Nice video. Love the motion and watching the movements.

But the geek in me was fascinated by the light artifacts I was seeing in the m4v. Ziggies moving down her arms and such. And then there was the tantalizing flashes of light that I (finally) figured out must be some sort of nipple jewelry.

And yes - I am one of those geeks that wonders why Captain Kirk did not just beam a photon torpedo into the other ship instead of sending a raiding party

Marcus, you never cease to amaze. Magnificent, spectacular, gorgeous, beautiful, silky, timeless. I need my thesaurus. I'm going to see if I can find a picture frame that will run this as an infinite loop, for display at home. OK with you? Thanks so much for sharing your creativity with us, this was a wonderful experience!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

mjranum In reply to HungryCats [2010-02-02 17:53:40 +0000 UTC]

That would be fine. I've found a few frames that will run .AVIs - the Kodak ones are pretty good. If you want a version of it without the credits so you can loop it, let me know.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

HungryCats In reply to mjranum [2010-02-03 20:52:20 +0000 UTC]

Thanks, I'll check around at Target (fine French fashions--final "t" is silent) and other places (Michaels?) to see what they have available. I'd like to put the credits somewhere, maybe on the back of the frame, but the loop would probably look better without them.

I'll check back once I've found a good frame.

I love it ....
your darkness is what caught my eyes ... its beautiful and your lights supported the image 100%. It showed only few parts of the model in each frame like those part were painted in the dark not the whole body ... waaaay to go

plus the ending is nice and i feel i was studied and calculated very well.

your model's movement was very smooth and seductive, she did her job very well

10/10 and excellent job
