Description Model is Zinn.

One of the things that always puzzles me is people's reaction to eroticism. It appears that they are upset by the idea that someone will see an image and get turned on by it. Never mind that that doesn't really seem to be an earth-shaking problem (and hardly someone else's business) why would this image be "naughtier" if I posted the version that I shot a few seconds later, when she dropped the towel? Isn't your imagination good enough to know that there's nothing under that towel, and that smile - that smile... What's "inviting"? What's "exciting"? What's "sexy"? I'd be infinitely more turned on if I could imagine for a fraction of a second that that smile was for me - just me - you know, that special smile? If you thought this smile was for you, would this image be sexier if you could see her breasts? It seems to me that a lot of people have a very limited experience of eroticism! I've seen a lot of breasts in my life (they aren't "ho hum" yet and show no sign of becoming so...) but I'd crawl across a desert with a cinder-block chained to my ankle to bask in a smile like this, were it for me and me alone.

I just uploaded this one as stock, if you want to play with it, please use the version here:

I agree with all you said but that most of all. One of the best examples of true human emotion I have seen on here so far.

IΒ΄ve been thinking of the same questions from the same point of view for a while now. I mean this picture is indeed sexy and in many, and I do mean MANY, ways even sexier then some full nude pic. Hell, itΒ΄s even sexier then most of your pictures that feature a fully nude model. Which gets me to my second question/opinion:

Why do people allways assume that a nude body is supposed to be sexy or erotic, or in any way related to porn?

I for one enjoy many of your works which use the naked body in a non pornographic way ( is there even any ), but every time I show them to some of my friends they instantly think itΒ΄s porn

Anyway, another great piece of art

Why do people allways assume that a nude body is supposed to be sexy or erotic, or in any way related to porn?

That's because that's how they see it, so they cannot escape that preconception and see it any other way.

I don't know if you've read any of my journal entries about "porn" but, as I've said elsewhere, I don't even know what "porn" is other than a value-laden label for "something I don't like." If you've got friends who are uncomfortable with sexuality and nudity, they'll be uncomfortable with a fair bit of the photography that I do. That's not your problem or mine (if it's a problem at all) it's theirs.

My husband swears that there's a way that I go out of a room and turn half back to see and smile at him on my way out that puts a sine wave from hip to head and it drives him nuts. Seriously, he's written rhapsodies to that particular motion. I can be and usually am wearing horseshoeing clothing at the time (which means the ultimate in not sexy, for those unfamiliar with horseshoeing).

This is sexy, she is beautiful, and I bet her smile for her special someone has exponentially more effect. Sexy often means leaving something to the imagination.

That's awesome.

You mean the smell of rotting horse foot isn't sexy?

I appreciate your perspective. It sounds like you're in the same boat as me: my favorite sexual organ is my imagination.

Pure reproductive sex is a biological process. You stimulate the system in a certain way, and it goes off like a sneeze. Everything that makes sex fun is between the ears, IMHO.

And yes, there are some strange people out there who think that the smell of rotting horse hoof isn't sexy. I don't get them, but I respect their opinion. ;D

Your photographs and journals are always so much fun.

Such an expression is much more inviting in life (my wife smiles at me like this, or in her own way, at times. This hardly compares). People can't really grasp the subtlety of the gesture as well as they can grasp a full view tits and pussy triggering obvious instinctual/cultural cues. The smile is nice, up to interpretation to most, thus why it's more "friendly." Imagination is what many people lack, which is why this image will never get anywhere near 20,000 views like the nude shots in mjranum's gallery.

Nope, nowhere near as many views. And that's the point. I don't mind, because that's up to the people who look at my stuff to decide - but I sure do like this shot.

Any woman, regardless of her body, can be "sexy." It's all in how she carries herself, how she thinks of herself. It doesn't matter if she's nude, wearing socks and bikini panties, or a full blown parka and snow pants. She can still be "sexy" if she believes she is. An image such as this simply captures a woman who believes she is sexy, and just happened to have a talented photographer handy to immortalize the moment.

Many of your images, I think, have women being "sexy" in them, and it shows the talent of the photographer to be able to capture that regardless of what the women are wearing. I'd bet you could capture Zinn being sexy in your ghilly suit...

Zinn could rock the ghillie suit... Too bad that she's stopped modelling (no, I don't know why) I was joking one time that Mosh could make a flour sack look sexy; so I got one. It's ready to go.

Being an erotic writer, I notice that some part of the story are deeply more erotic then the sex scenes. The first kiss of the protagnists can be tentimes more hot then the love making scene.
People can't accept The pure eortic force in a simple kiss or a simple little command.
Wonderful work, thanks for the inspiration as always.

I like the point you make about eroticism. To me, it's psychological, and, therefore, something suggestive, such as a smile, can be even more erotic than a bare body. Furthermore, the smile implies fun, desire and love rather than just lust.

I don't mean that a picture showing a nipple is vulgar or not erotic, but it isn't necessarily erotic either. The picture must be seen as a whole. If one is to acknowledge the existence of erotic literature, one must realize that eroticism is a lot more than a mere graphic description.

Your caption alone is worth a , but the shot is also great!
