Well I use two actually; I use Adobe Illustrator to draw the line art and Adobe Photoshop to add color, shading and other details.

They just need to stay away from the Fizzie energy drinks so they won't turn into monsters themselves.

Yes. It takes place in a sort of apocalyptic setting after a company called FizzCo distributes their brand of energy drinks to a city. When consumed it turns people into these wild monsters that go out attacking people. It's a simple plot where you create a character as the protagonist.
The company's mascot (Fizzie) floats around the city as a balloon, then it's later discovered that it's a devastating weapon and becomes a boss fight. I want to try drawing that since the name does remind me of the product Jimmy drinks: Fizzy Snail Sludge.

Well reports of certain energy drinks like Monster and Red Bull have killed some people possibly due to massive consumption of the products, and that's the worst it can get for now.
