Description

Canimurs, a predatory lineage of lemurs on Vatosokay, became quite successful in the early Viridocene. In fact, a descendant of the lowland canimur is the most numerous predator of Indrindra (the southern continent).

Bush lurkers are a coyote-sized, highly social species. It is not unusual for their pack to consist of over 30 individuals. Due to their sociability, they're quite intelligent, able to form complex relationships between pack members. Body gestures, snarling, and high-pitched bark-like vocalisations make up their language. Complex communication skills come in handy when hunting in large groups. What their prey is depends on the size of their pack, but it is usually large megafauna of the tsanganan forest. Small packs are much more coordinated and efficient. Large groups try to overwhelm their prey by sheer numbers. After they bring down an animal, they immediately start ripping it apart and eating it.
