Description This an old classic of mine I made while studying abroad in Rome. It is the first page of the manuscript of my adult fiction novel (forever in progress), The Semi-Forbidden Histories of Mr. _____.

My personal title, in italian, means: the beginning of the end.

I love how there's so much movement in the curtains even though the rest of the scene is so still. It really, really pulls you in. It's simple, but I can look and look and look at it and still be interested. Very nice!!!

I'm speechless. If you knew the story (far too long and convoluted to go into here), you'd see that you're very much in tune with the narrative in this moment!

Thanks! It's really nice that someone else out there can see the drama in a faceless, resting man in a bed.
