Description
Queen Anastasia of Norway wearing a bunad, the Norwegian national costume (it actually varies based on which regions; this is from Hardanger Fjord, Hordaland County in the Vestlandet region in western Norway. I modeled the colours after Anna's outfit from Frozen to reflect Anastasia's personality even though the colours in the base photo that i recoloured were brownish and dull.). This is great picture and I love the comparision to Frozen, since Anastasia would be the most impulsive and would perhaps end up in an adventure like Anna the most likely out of her sisters.
I also love how the braids kind of are let free and open. It actually reminds me of this picture of Alexandra where she has let her hair free and has some of it on the front side(probably to show off how long her hair was). I just love seeing the parallels between the girls and their mom, even if it is only due to photoshop or coloring, because they were all so close in their lives.

I remember seeing that picture and even some colorings of it, but because I have lost all those files where I collected the black and white pictures and the original versions of my colored pictures, I can't exactly just dig up the picture.
I think the picture was taken sometime around 1910's(bit earlier or later is possible), it was taken during summer and outdoors, but that's honestly all I remember of it. Alexandra was standing infront of some flowery bush. I think I found the picture on one of those huge online galleries that have collected the pictures the Imperial family took themselves, since it definately wasn't an official portrait of any kind.
Sorry I can't be of more help. I saw the picture years ago, but because I hadn't gotten around coloring it(and publishing on DA) I have lost the picture, but I'm pretty sure I saw someone coloring the picture here, so maybe looking through the galleries of other black and white photograph colorers here will bring up the picture and you can find the original black and white that way.
