My original thought had been not to burden the page with text because I didn't want to distract from the action, but now I'm almost wondering if more needs to be said? Meh, when are we ever satisfied with our own work, right?Β
I've got some big stuff planned for this series, it sold so well at the last convention that I'm finally going to get off my duff and start doing things with it instead of just publishing for free online. More details as they become available, but for now, I'm just gonna sit back and enjoy the rest of Chapter 4. Happy May, everyone!

I just found your comic through this DD, it's awesome! I read about you having to temporarily quit a passion project over earning money and I can't understand it more. I also have a comic (husband writes and draws, I color) and it is sadly also in hiatus so we could focus on portifolios to start earning them munnies. I will always admire people who continue to try and keep their projects no matter the gains because, well, it's just what passion is. Hopefully we will be able to get back to our own soon enough. So I hope you keep up with this great work, at your own pace, always! It will be always a welcome surprise whenever I get that tapas notification from you. Thank you for your work!

And yes, exactly! I'm so grateful for the contracts I worked and glad I could earn enough with art alone to get through the tough times, but it was hard. Especially since I've got a 1 year old, I feel like I spent a quarter of his first year praying for him to nap so I could get my work done. They're little for such a short time, I'm sad to have "missed" it.
Anyway, I hope things look up for all of us soon. Thank you <3

(haha, word bubbles that intrude on the artwork ... such is the plight of a graphic novelist no?)Β It helps to decide upfront, too, whether to go with stylized lettering/bubbles that complement the art. But otherwise, I like when images tell the story for me. ^^
Sounds great! You put _so_ much hard work into this; it'd be great if Wild Skies keeps growing as its own franchise, so to speak!
