Description
Fire dog (Canis Ignis)A fictional canid in one of my unfinished stories, the result of gene-splicing of a highly advanced human civilization (now extinct) obsessed with technological and genetic development.
Animal genes involved in the creation of this species--
Fox and Maned Wolf--Color of fur
Raccoon and lemur--mobile paws
Human--High intelligence and ability to communicate
Original Purpose--assistance animal similar to a helper dog or monkey trained to aid or assist a person with a disability. Also intended to improve the physical, social, emotional, and/or cognitive functioning of the patient, as well as provide educational and motivational effectiveness for participants (i. e. , paying attention, staying on tasks such as homework and interactions with others).
After Man--As with all civilization, the technically modern age of Homo sapiens fell apart due to a bio engineered plague and over-dependence on cybernetic technology .
The fire dogs escaped into the wild filling in the ecological niches left by foxes and wolves.

The main thing I'm seeing is lack of shading. Shade your character to give it some life and depth. As it is appearing too flat on the canvas. I'm not too fond of the background either. It's not very appealing on the eyes, and doesn't compliment the picture very well. Your Fire Dog could use some outlining to clean up the rough edges as well. It's left hand seems too much smaller than the right too. Other than that it's a good concept.
This last part is just a filler to abide by DA's "100 word Minimum rule." Peace out.
