Haha! I guess i just can't get over how inter e sting I found anders as a character. He's great. Not a good person per se, but so much depth that it was so much fun to try to rp my hawke's relationship with him. Esp as a non-mage hawke. Fenris was definitely more fun for a mage hawke tho. God I'm a nerd lol.

I liked anders a lot since he appeared in Awakening, and in DA2 he's great as well!
But I'm just one of these people that picks the same romance option over and over again xD I'm just stuck on one xD
Heck, I even always play with exactly the same Hawke. Tried non-mage once and couldn't finish the playthru :/

Haha I'm the type to try out all the options! Just don't make me play warrior. I can't get my head around that play style. I'm more for the hit and run rogue tbh. But I've romanced all the da2 options at least once.

I'm usually only interested in like 2 characters per game in terms of romance anyways, so I don't feel the need to try all the options...

Haha! I just get curious. I mean I could just watch a video of all the cutscenes for the romances but eh. In da2 I only really liked anders and fenris. Isabela was ok and I was pretty meh about Merrill. I still wish I could have romanced aveline tbh. Would have been interesting.
But I do have a type lol. Blond, awkward, with a troubled past. Aka my main romances were Alistair, Anders, and Cullen. Save me.

Definitely easier! I get super into the rp side of things tho, so since i'm changing all my headcannons, race, and class, and everything in my subsequent play-throughs, not to mention who i befriend/romance, I'm entertained enough to replay multiple times XDDD
I have to admit I've never even completed Solas' companion quests lol. he was rather boring for such an important to the lore character. sadly.

Makes sense for you then! Since I don't really care about character I play as, but abt the story and NPCs, once I know all I can I rarely re-play. Unless there's a lot of different stuff in terms of decisions making.
Which is in DA but I never felt the need to side with Templars for exaple so I always play exactly the same way xD DA2 is only DA game I re-played and yep, played it exactly the same way each time xD
Yeah Solas was boring for me from the very start. Plus he ugly so I didn't even bother with him at all. Maybe we're just not the target audience for his romance...

I can't bring myself to side templar in DA2 but I definitely have in DAI. lol. I just feel too bad for the mages in Kirkwall. They've been dealt a baaaaad hand~ I take great pleasure in making poor fenris fall in love with my mage child and dragging him on my save the mages quest lol.
I wouldn't say he's attractive lol, but not actually full on ugly at least for me XD. I might have been more interested in romancing Solas if i could at least do it as a Non-elf, since I'd be interested to see how they would handle mr Elf-snob falling for someone who isn't one. lol. that would have at least provided some form of something interesting to his character. but yeah I'd have to agree! not for me XD

Yeah, rival romance for Fenris is really interesting. I couldn't really do it any other way because I always play mage and am super pro-mage. Love ya, Fen, but won't be against mages even for you....
I guess I think he's so ugly because he's bald.... bald heads/super short hair is the most unatracttive thing for me. His concept art looked waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better.
Maybe if he'd look like on the concepts I'd consider it, but also, I never make female characters so in the end, probably not.... don't like chis character much, diffrent look maybe wouldn't help....

I'm totally team mage, but i can see why the templars do some of the stuff they do. i think they go to far a lot, but i can understand the logic at least a little. That's why its fun to me to play from a sympathizer's pov. lol. Since more often than not, I'm not playing as "me" its easier to pick choices that I wouldn't necessarily choose it t was me.
Well, I have to agree about his concept art XD. hmmmmm.... I played more female than male lol. Female Warden, Male Hawke, Female Inquisitor. I've a tendency to pick female like 2/3 of the time in games, but im also female so i guess it makes sense. Its kinda funny when I'm playing like an mmo or something as a big hulking male character, and everyone is like "why ????" tho lol. Because they look badass ok~
