Description
After 2 years of not even looking at my traditional stuff I have decided to paint an ink piece. And why not pick a front view look, I always sucked with free hand symmetry, what can go wrong.

I knew it won't be perfect, bc I am not good with traditional symmetry. I simply don't have enough practice with it - i can count on one hand how many times I drew front view pieces during these 3 years. I painted even less times. I am rusty and I did not have a big traditional knowledge even before being rusty. So I told myself "Yeah it will probably be shit as hell, but let's just enjoy the process and try out something new! Let's just enjoy you are not drawing digitally!"

And man it was so much fun! Recently I really feel choked by digital art and really wanted to do something else, so I started to eye my watercolour paper a week ago. Then the urge became stronger and I eventually gave in. It was difficult to start - sitting down doing art is difficult these days - but once I did it I was so in! Sketching was a mess, but I really felt driven toward the front view, even though I knew what I knew. But painting it? I started around 1 PM and 2 seconds later it was 4 PM, was done and I didn't even notice that passed 3 hours! I lvoed every minute of it!

Also happily noticed even if I did not draw or paint traditionally and I still doesn't have the proper equipment for it, like proper brushes i wasn't that anxious about painting. I did paint a lot digitally and even if that is not the same the logic behind it is pretty similar. So I was comfortably surprised!

Will totally paint another one, bc I am feeling the groove

PS: I couldn't stop myself to slightly edit the painting in PS, bc the asymmetry was driving me crazy, but it wasn't horrible, so that is a progress! I am happy :3
