Wendy always had a perfect image etched in her mind of what love is. She wasn't surprised when she fell for Stan. It was expected and predictable. Also, she thought she knew what love was. It was comfort. It was near platonic, but there was an attraction. You took care of each other. You wanted each other. It was a thing where two people both put their effort. It was standard and aesthetic.
She was wrong.
It wasn't standard; it was chaotic. It wasn't aesthetic; it was ugly and messy. It wasn't comforting; it was nauseating, anxious, and raw. That is love. It's raw. These nervous butterflies and these harsh tremors were new, and they weren't for Stan. They were for someone else entirely.
She'd seen him, talked to him, and fought with him for years... but why now? Why now!? Why when things between Stan and her where supposed to be the best? Why when she had stability?
Why?
Why not Stan?
Why.... why Eric?

I like Stendy... but this is more anti-stendy and pro-candy.
she's been in a relationship that she where she thought she loved stan, but she didn't in reality. she's just realizing it now, and she's falling for cartman. cartman makes her feel nervous and anxious and chaotic, not at all stable.... but she likes it. it makes her feel almost alive.
but she knows stan is deeply in love with her, and that he has issues. she can't leave him because he'll be crushed, but she can't be with him forever like he wants. she wants a way out, but at the same time, she wants to stay because what if her feelings for cartman is just a phase? what will she do then? what if she really does love stan? she doesn't know what to do.
that's the story line for my little picture.

Well, there's one story, Bitter Chocolates, where it's set up in a Japanese AU setting. Wendy used to date Stan, but they broke up because Stan ignored her, and Craig is her love interest.
