This is Fucking Rad Buddy! What kind of person would I be if I complained about this. You took what I asked and just went all out on this. Cap, Iron Man, War Machine, Falcon, Hulk, HawkEye and Black widow all. I`m curious is that a representation of Jormungandr The World serpent. This is great I personally love it. Nothing is perfect but, Dammit your close. Thank you Buddy.
Love,
B-Boogy

MohawkRex really just goes all out on his art. My avatar still is the picture he did of a one-off D&D character I played for a temp session forever ago... He really was such a small character in the grand scheme of that game, but I can't *not* use it considering how fucking amazing it is.
I probably never would have remembered that character (I played him like 6 years ago, and again... for one session) but now I tell the story all the time and have to whip out the picture to show people.

I'm happy if you are dude.
The big'ol snek is actually mean't to be Loki (hence the horns) pretending to be Jormungandr as a way of messing with Thor.

I dont like them in general to be honest. Excluding maybe Tony and Hulk since I grew up watching their 90s incarnations. But Cap and the rest are just...uuughhh....UUUUGGGHHHH!!!! Specially now since I got Wonder Woman to thank for the disaster that was WW1 apparantly.
But you did a good job honestly. I'd buy a comic if it looked this good.

"I think my colouring lets it down"
Gonna have to disagree with you quite heavily on that one. This looks fantastic.

Thankyou, I'm genuinely not fishing for compliments, I have only been coloring for about a decade and it's getting to the point I've stopped learning anything which makes me kinda frustrated.

As a writer and hobbyist-psychologist I'm gonna throw something out there: Color perception is entirely based off of your language . If you don't know many words for different shades, then your brain struggles to distinguish between "blue" and "different blue". Having specific names gives you the ability to distinguish more and get that chunk of neurons firing.
I'm just now deciding I want to get some art supplies and learn the visual side of things, in the past (outside of like... middle school) I've only doodled, so I don't know much about actual equipment. But just familiarizing yourself with more names for different hues might be all you need to get a bit of a jump.
Personally I love your style so I'm hesitant to say anything about it, but I do notice you tend to use flat/large sections of color and not much blending. IIRC your method is marker with digital touchup, so I'd imagine you would have to do the blending on the computer side of things. This might help alleviate the problem you're feeling you have. I think the banner saga art was done with water color, which may be why you feel yours fails to live up to the inspiration, that blending thing.

Holy moly, how's it been fella? Havn't talked to you in a long ol' time.
Thanks for the link, I'll defiantly give it a look, anything that'll help me improve.

One thing I noticed is that a lot of art suppliers don't label their colors in large sets, an idea might be to label them yourself. Prismacolor colored pencils have names on theirs, everything else I've found doesn't name anything.
