Description
From last year, an illustration of one of my favourite fairy tales.
An old knight guards a young couple, an every night three birds land on a tree and speak. The first bird praises the young couple's beauty and bliss, the second bird tells that they will be murdered the next day, and the third bird concludes: "Whoever heard us and speaks, shall turn into stone..."
