Description Merry X-mas and happy new year!

This is a 3d model made in zbrush2 (3 hours of modeling) and rendered in max8 with Vray (I'm a beginner at it).

Instead of finishing my other personal projects (like Thor) I was just doodling in zbrush and came up with that concept.

If felines evolved into humanoids, this is what they would look like for sure!

Great Work! Keep it up!

that where i gotta argue.
he just looks a person with a cat head. shouldnt his shoulder (and whole anatomy) be completely different ?

Hey I have already seen this somewhere, great render.

Are you by chance posting on "www.threedy.com" ???
Because I have seen this on some forum with different materials and stuff.

If you say you are a beginner... I'm amazed. Because the SSS in the ears, and the great soft shadows... I think it is just perfect!

very cool! reminds me of thundercats! I got mudbox recently its very powerful but I still need to get my poly modelling skills to the level where I can easily make low poly characters to be subD'd. How do you make your low poly models? do you have one base mesh and model many different characters from that? or do you use zspheres?

Thank you Sircula! I tried a bit beta mudbox but I am sticking to what I know for now! I modeled the base mesh in max I reused a humain base that I've used for a model of a kid.
you can check a few more pictures I've done on zbrushcentral [link]

Oh thanks man. I think I have a plan, I will make a simple generic base mesh in max and then make some sculpts in Mudbox of different characters just for practise and fun . Mudbox 1.0 seems pretty stable and the export maps worked perfectly for me but most of all I love the interface being so simple.

I can understand that zbrush is more powerful though with all its tools for colouring etc but it takes seems to take sooo much time to learn and understand it, youre an incredible artist!
