Believe it or not, but this is actually an old verision of Sahara :'D
I went through some of my old (or actually when you think about it not so old) drawings from 2010-2011 when I was around 12, and I found one that I remember I was really happy with. I decided I wanted to make a remake of it!
This is the old verision of it:

Back then (omg it sounds like I'm 100 years old now lol) my english was very limited and my descriptions were stupid, so I didn't really express what I thought about my artworks XD

I gotta say that I've been gaining a lot of experience and improved loads from those times, and when I look back, most of the drawings looks very boring and flat. I knew absolutely nothing about shading, the anatomy was lacking, and I drew very skew. But it was a time of improving. And I remebered I really loved to draw, like, everyday, at that time.

Nowadays, I don't draw that very often anymore. Especially last year, when I almost didn't improve at all. I've been had a huge artblock, you know, when you see all the mistakes you're doing and you feel like you'll never get it right. You get lack of motivation and suddenly it's not that fun anymore. :c
I guess many of you have been going through this, or are going through this. I'm slowly getting my motivation back, but I always felt that the older you get, the harder it is to improve. But I realized don't think it is that way. I learned that the times you improve is when you enjoy being creative. Pressure kills every kind of creativity. So, sometimes, maybe it's good with a break.

There have been times in my life when I have drastically improved in a short time, because I felt really motivated and creative. I think I'm just gonna wait and see if I get one of those improvement-flows again.

Aaaand I didn't plan this to be that very long o.o I can surely write for hours when it's late

Improvement is interesting, and I believe it's good to look back and see how far you've come sometimes.
