Veeery long overdue updated ref for Archer! His old ref is from 2012... cringe.
I also updated his character, since originally he was involved w/ oliver & company fancharacters, I decided to rework his story to make him just a regular ole' oc instead!

"Archer loves to be a gentleman, and although he isn't a softy by any stretch of the imagination, he's more than happy to open doors for others, shake a paw for introductions, the whole nine yards! He was originally born in London and lived with a kind master who taught him to be this way, but when his master hit a financial wall and could not recover, he was forced to sell Archer to give him a better life. Archer then lived with two men near Wales who were in the hunting trade. They trained the young dog to chase and track down their elusive prey, and while Archer missed his first master dearly, this life wasn't one he could complain about.
Soon the two men wanted to move to Canada for more game opportunities, so they set sail once they'd finished preparations. Before they arrived, however, a stray cigar by the lower decks created a fire that raged through the ship. Archer, in an attempt to escape from the now sinking ship, jumped overboard, hitting his head against one of the walls. The blow knocked him unconscious, but the canine was lucky enough that the waves carried him to shore. He could not remember a single thing from his past (except his name, since it was embedded into his collar), and has suffered from extreme amnesia ever since. He lived on the streets for a while as a stray, though was soon found by a couple of dogs who claimed to be spies. They trained him to become one of them, and he seemed to have a knack for the job, which made him wonder about his past. He now continues to work for them, if for no other reason than it keeps him from being bored."
