I tried not to change her too much, though I did want to edit a few things. Mostly, what I changed were the shades of her coat, and added more of the light markings. I also added a celtic cross on her tail, as a way for her to remember Carney <3

She has a slightly pessimistic attitude and has a hard time seeing the bright side to bad situations. Her negative perspective and her habit to observe every small detail has made her very cautious when it comes to missions and tight spots, but daily life decisions go quite another way. She is not as reckless as she used to be when she was a bit younger, but her natural curiosity sometimes takes its hold while in Eden. Robyn knows when to think things through yet chooses to ignore it unless she is on an expedition. Her cautious attitude is lost in this sense, except when it comes to strangers. Among friends she feels comfortable and safe, but among those she does not know she can become reserved and even seem a bit distant. She tries to avoid interactions with unknown canines at all costs, but sometimes it just cannot be helped.

Overall, Robyn is a smart canine who thinks things through only when it counts and to her that’s when on a mission and when faced with a stranger. Her adventurous nature is primary, even if she must restrain herself in serious situations. She is afraid to fail in her duties, and her insecurities are what often get the best of her. Sometimes, however, her negative attitude and bad habits tend to save her life, and she has escaped close calls many times before.

History: Robyn always had a deep bond with her mother, a respected mapper. It was she who passed on her intelligence to the young mix breed, and many of her cautious habits were picked up by Robyn as a young pup. Her father, a gate guard, was not quite as positive as her mother. He saw many dogs come and go and some were not allowed back inside or never returned. Unbeknownst to Robyn, shavings of his pessimistic attitude reached her, though she did not think much of it until she grew older. This was because her mother and father balanced each other out perfectly, and Robyn never learned too much of the good things and too much of the bad things from either.

That is until a few months before her first birthday. Her mother was to go on an expedition as she did every now and then when the convoy went out on missions. Once she left, she never came back. Her father was devastated, having watched his own mate be declined entry by one of his partners. He didn’t tell Robyn until a few days later, and when the young mutt learned of what happened, she sank into misery. Her mother’s gas mask strap had snapped from lack of repair, and the air quickly infected her, effectively insuring her death soon after her denied re-entry into Eden.

Months later would find Robyn with a mask of her own, and her father’s negative habits slowly getting to her. Without her mother there to balance it out, Robyn needed someone else to fill the void of her heart. This led her to a rushed relationship with an unknown male months older than herself. The male’s reckless habits and willingness to charge into danger had a profound effect on Robyn, and this is something she can never forget no matter how hard she tries. It is etched into her skin in the form of scars.

Every instance of raiders brought Robyn to the brink of near infection, as she took on the male’s personality and became reckless. She’s been lucky one too many times, as any of the scratches and bite wounds she now has could easily have been infected. Luckily for her, her father was there to save her each and every time, and the last time he did, she had to go to the physician in order to heal the wounds she received. She now wears bandages on her front legs in order to try and hide many of the scars and past injuries she received. Upon her father’s continued request, Robyn broke it off with the male she had been seeing and abandoned him entirely.

Since then, she began putting some of her learned personality to use, training to become a convoy hawker. She wanted to be able to help others rather than destroy herself, and her insecurities – although they did not disappear – lessened as she became confident in her budding abilities.

As Robyn trained she began to remember her mother’s lessons, and she felt shameful regret at having thrown it all away in grief. She used her mother’s memory to make her proud, and she is now a successful hawker, still rehabilitating but doing better by the day.

Asher ~ He's a great forger and pretty friendly. Though beyond that, I don't know much else about him.

Atlas ~ Now there's a dog who's absolutely fearful of the opposite gender. Between him and Reid you could nearly feel the awkward in the air. He seems like a very friendly dog, though. Maybe after some time, if he became more comfortable around females, we could become friends.

Carney ~ The first time I met him, I found it kind of odd that I was able to trust him so easily. Though he has his faults, who doesn't? My feelings towards him have been mixed for a while, but when he was gone and I thought him to be dead, I guess that's when it hit me how much I actually missed him. Go figure, it seems I've fallen helplessly in love again. He's died all over again... The first time, I though I'd never have hope again... what a pitiful thing to finally find it again. Then to have him snatched away by the one thing none of us can escape... I miss him. I miss him a lot.

Flash ~ He doesn't tend to anger me, but it does irritate me very much so that he can seem to have so much fun in the Wastelands. I understand that seeing it for the first time is exciting, and maybe my negativity is speaking too loudly, but I feel as if he was way too happy in the Wastelands for his own good. He came off as over-confident and that's not truly an appealing quality to me.

Fringe ~ A cool pup, probably one who'll cause mischief non-stop, but he has a good heart. And I guess that's all that really counts.

Gotye ~ He seems to be a very sad fellow, and I only know a short version of the story, but I feel we're more alike than meet's the eye. I wouldn't mind getting to know him a little better.

Guillotine ~ Though we really did get off on the wrong paw, nearly hating each other over something seemingly stupid, after I apologized, things got calmer. Guillotine may be a bit sour at times, but at least I'm able to talk to her now without much effort.

Hemera ~ The technician is quite the likable canine. I'll admit she's a bit quirky, but hey. Isn't everyone here around Eden odd in some way?

Nayda ~ She's... eccentric, to say the least. But she's been nice enough. I only talked to her for a few minutes, but she didn't seem like much of a threat, so I guess it's just a matter of speaking more often.

Perpetual ~ She seems a bit scared of everyone to be honest. I feel for her, though. I to know what it's like to be afraid of speaking to others. Though not on the same level, by any means, but still... I think it'd do us both good to chat sometime.

Rory ~ He's probably the only one besides my father who's seen my scars, and that alone required a great leap for me. Even with him being a physician, I still felt uncomfortable at first when I had to get my bandages switched out. But after talking for a while, even if it was about sad stuff for the most part, I feel like I can relate to him. He's earned my trust, and that's enough for me to call him a friend.

Reid ~ The poor fellow seems positively fronted by females. I wish I could help, but... alas, I'm female myself. He doesn't seem to have bad intentions, so maybe when he's more comfortable we could talk.

Rylynn ~ I knew he was a friend of my mother's but somehow never got to know him properly until now. Though he's much older and I've only ever had one real talk, somehow I feel safe around him. I almost feel as if he's an older brother, looking out for me.

Slate ~ She's a pretty nice female, and she's easy enough to talk to as well. I - for some reason - feel comfortable enough around her to talk without thinking much about it.

Sylis ~ He seems nice enough, but I've only ever met him once and for a very short time. I'm not quite sure what to make of him yet.

Tank ~ Again, I've only met him once before, and those circumstances were... tense between myself, Carney, and Guillotine. He was asleep for most of it, and he seems a bit cocky and commanding but friendly nonetheless. So I'm unsure whether to trust him or not.

Topaz ~ A nice dog, I've talked to her only a bit, but she's kind and I would think a good friend to make in the future.

Xerxes ~ A resourceful fellow who I had a nice chat with. I wouldn't mind at all talking with him again.

A short bark echoed in Robyn’s ears as she sat within the confines of her small and open space. She often came here when she needed to be alone, and as Robyn did not truly have many friends at the moment, she came to this place a lot. The bark’s familiarity immediately established its owner, and Robyn twisted her head around to see her father close behind. He had gotten much better since she had become a hawker. It seemed as if he had gotten over his grief finally as well. Since his retirement as a gate guard, he seemed much happier – in the very least, a lot less negative about things. Robyn was glad because of it, and she smiled at her father before bringing her ears up to listen to his words.
Other: Due to her being a hawker, she has a 50/50 resistance to the infection.
