I am in SUCH a Lord of the Rings mood today! I don't really know why - maybe it's because I've been playing the soundtrack all morning x3Enjoy gazing into the eye of Smaug, the Great and Terrible!

The eye was actually the easy part! I just blended orange, red, and yellow together as a base set of colors, then made a new layer. I then scribbled over it with horizontal lines in dark orange, bright yellow, and a tiny bit of bright red. Lastly, I took a hatching brush to make even finer horizontal lines :3
Sounds complicated, but once you do it once or twice it becomes a breeze!!!
