do you plan out the colors and composition before coloring? where did u learn to color? XD

i never really learned to tell u the truth. I taught myself. I never really bother looking at tutorials cuz im kinda lazy... =_= Sometimes i plan out the color depending on what peice im doin. Or if im doing a deviants character ill look at what colors they use mainly for there character as u can tell by the stuff ive done for klar.So i planned the colors on this one and thats about it. When i thought i was finished, i kinda thought it was a little boring so i found some textures and stuckem in there to see what they look like and it worked out. Ussually i play it by ear... or by sight. I dont know what ud say for that... but yea. Just be creative and fool around alot. The 'dragonfly of light' pic was done when i was first starting out and that whole pic was just a bunch of messing around. I kinda forget how i did some of its colors ;_;. haha. I hope i answered your questions and ill try to help as much as i can! <

that outfit is AWESOME. i love the patterns on it. she looks beautiful and i love the subtle shading. i'd never really thought of drawing her in shorts before, but these really fit her. thank you!
