Hi everypony!!

New artwork for today again, yay! Last week, I literally had NO time to draw an artwork, so I decided to draw this week. It took me a lot of effort finishing it and because of this, I decided, it'll be better, if I upload every two weeks instead of every week, so I can have more freetime. It's just, it takes me TOO MUCH time only finishing one artwork and I actually planned for today to upload two. Goodness.

However, I got tired of working on my fanfiction list, so I decided to do something new for a change. I decided to draw Rainbow Harmony, the little filly, that got enrolled in the School of Friendship in "School Raze Part 1". Rainbow Harmony is actually an OC, that had enough luck to get in the show. I totally loved her design (no wonder it's so unique in comparison with the other background ponies, because it's an OC) and it got my whole attention, when I watched "School Raze Part 1 and 2", though she only appeared once. I really hope, we will see more of her in Season 9. I actually wanted to draw her earlier, but I had to postpone her because of other projects I had to do. I hope I can count her as a new character, that appeared the first time in Season 8 (plus best gift ever) same with the Young Six, Terramar, the Gift Givers, Cozy Glow, Autumn Blaze and Pistachio. As you already know, Season 9 will air today and so, I guess I drew all the adorable new characters before Season 9 airs, minus Pistachio because I lack of time and included him in an unfinished drawing, that I cancelled for some reason.

Anyways, I decided to put all my heart in this artwork and tried to draw it as perfect as possible. Lmao, the scanned pictures will never look as good as the original traditional ones, but I still think, I succeeded and it was all the time worth. I wanted to draw Rainbow Harmony a long time ago and also designed an Equestria Girls/human outfit for her, that I tried to put on paper above. It looked slightly different than in my imaginations, but that's okay in my opinion.

I tried to give the background in my picture a more original and creative touch by coloring several details in the picture with another color (e.g.: I colored the doors green instead of pinkish red as it is in Velvet's picture) and turning the little hearts in the door in little holes. After all, the School of Friendship is so big and there's no exact plan of it, so this hallway, where Rainbow Harmony is drawn, could be everywhere. I didn't change the color of the walls and the floor, because I assume, it'll be all the same in every hallway.

This is also the very first time, I drew a full, concrete background and I'm really proud of myself. Usually, I don't draw concrete background. (The deviation, that doesn't even come near to a proper background is this: Cheering for our Friends (Dragonfly Competition) ) However I think, I have to practise more, so I did it different this time and tried my best to make it look as good as possible. Actually, I never felt as ambitious as today.

There might be more of my deviations with backgrounds in the future, which means more effort and less uploading times, but I hope, you still enjoy them. Quality counts and not quantity.

So feel free to tell me in the comments, what you think about my slightly different artwork today. I'd like to hear, what you have to say. Though, I'm still a beginner and I'm looking forward to improve, even if that means, I won't upload as frequently as before. ^^
