Thank-you! I started reading Interview with the Vampire (after discovering that it's "Interview with the", not "Interview with a" vampire, as I had originally thought.
First: I HATE CLAUDIA.

SERIOUSLY. I just....I don't like her! She's like: "Daddy Louis, make me a new mommy so I can make you feel guilty about leaving!" While Armand is all: "Louis, I want you more than anything in the world!" And it should be a total no-brainer (Winner: Armand!), but Claudia is just RRRGH.
And although it makes the story overall more enthralling, when you're shouting "Just go with Armand, Louis!" in a quiet library, you feel like a complete goofus when everyone stares at you like "wtf?".
The Vampire Lestat and The Queen of the Damned are next! ^^

I LOOVE The Vampire Lestat! It's so deep and romantic! ^^ In honor of Fine Arts Week at our school, we had a mini-talent show during English class, and I read a part from The Vampire Lestat as a monologue. The class went wild!
Akasha makes me go "Wtf?", and Armand is fast becoming my favorite character. So far it's Lestat vs Louis vs Armand.
How do you pronounce "Lestat"? Is it "Lest-AHT", "LestAT", or "Lest-AH"? Or am I totally missing the mark?

Ahaha that's so awesome! It's LestAT, like rhyming with "cat." 
Never, EVER watch the Queen of the Damned movie, though. It's painful. Truly awful. They combine TVL and QotD into one movie, which I guess I can understand as the stories tie in with each other, but they mess EVERYTHING up. Like, just as an example, they make Marius turn Lestat into a vampire. And Nicki? Doesn't exist. Nope. I had to stop watching it halfway through, it was just too excrutiating.

Yeah, I saw the pictures of Antonio as Armand...(SHUDDER) Cherub! Not imp! Seriously, when I saw that picture, I thought he made Armand look like an impish character, which I was NOT a fan of.

My friends and I had an argument about Letstat's name today. One of them takes French, so she argued that it was "Lest-AH". The other argued "LestAT" because of some song, and I argued "Lest-AHT" because I'm a derp like that.

Ahahaha I took French, too, so I see where she's coming from with the pronunciation. But Lestat's a made-up name, sooo. xD Trust me when I say it's LestAT.
