Aaand, I was watching the Ship's Closet, and Brittany mentioned that when Hephaistion died, Alexander "flipped his shit," which made me laugh, because that's the most perfect three-word summary of his actions I've heard.

I imagine that Mirror-Kirk would get very scary after the Khan incident. He can't kill McCoy, obviously, because we need him for the rest of the story, but I bet he really takes is out on him for letting Spock get past him. And perhaps Scotty too, just 'cause he's there. This picture spun out of the idea that Mirror-Kirk has his crew terrified that he'll self-destruct the ship in his fit of grief. Bones, who I imagine understands and likes Jim even in the Mirrorverse, and who anyway has Spock in his head, forgives the freak-out and tries to snap him out of it.
