You came to in an endless desert, or perhaps a beach? It sounded like a beach, but the sand stretched too far to see the water. You didn't remember how you got here. After taking a second to get your bearings you started to walk in the direction of the sound of the water. It wasn't long before you saw it. Massive waves battered the shore like you'd never seen before. Shortly after the shore came into view you heard people talking and laughing, though you didn't see them. Perhaps this was just a normal beach. immediately upon finishing your thought, a massive foot slammed down inches in front of you. It sprayed you with sand and you slipped into the pit it made. It was only about a foot deep and you had no trouble getting out of it once you got back to your feet. With a few years shaved off your life, you looked in the direction the foot was going, a massive girl in a swimsuit ran toward the shore. The waves made more sense now. Somehow you were ant-sized. You had to get someone's attention, before you got crushed like you had just narrowly avoided. After moving a bit further down the shore more girls started to appear, a fact you were both glad for and terrified of. Strangely there were no boys among them. You decided to approach a girl to try to get her attention. She was lounging on a towel, under an umbrella, easier to get the attention of someone who was not moving, and on the ground, you figured. It didn't hurt that she was a very pretty redhead in a bikini. Finally reaching her towel you, had to figure out how to get her attention. Shouting didn't do any good, you were too tiny for her to hear from down here. You decided to approach her feet. They rose like massive walls above you. You started with a punch, no reaction, next you threw your shoulder at it with all your body weight. The skin gave a bit, surrounding you in it's warm sweaty embrace. Still no reaction and a rather unpleasant experience. You decided to try biting it. Your mouth filled with sweat leaving a bad taste in your mouth. "Ow! what was that?" you heard from above. It sounded more like mild annoyance than genuine pain. You hadn't even left a dent in her skin but she had apparently felt it. Her foot shifted out of the way as she tilted her head to look at where you were standing. "Oh another one of you, security system got you huh? I'm surprised you made it this far from the fence without getting stepped on." She said. A security system? What was she talking about? She flexed her toes absentmindedly, a gesture that was terrifying to someone of your size especially after she had just casually mentioned you being stepped on. "Oh right I can't hear you from down there. Let me help you out." She leaned forward and picked you up gingerly, then brought you close to her face. "I'm Alaina. Don't worry I won't bite, you're too small to chew anyway." She giggled and noticed your horrified expression. "Sorry I just like making you little guys squirm, it's too easy." You introduced yourself and asked her what she meant by the security system. "Oh you're one of the ones who got amnesia, common side effect but pretty scary when you're that small and don't know why." She elaborated. "This beach is girls only, there's a security system just past the fence that automatically shrinks any men who try to enter, it's pretty experimental so there can be side effects too." You asked her if she could help you get back to normal. "Sorry little guy but that's permanent. You're stuck like this. I can take you home and take care of you though. I have a few other tinies that wandered over to me like you." You gathered that "tinies" was how she referred to shrunken men, a little demeaning, but apt. "Its about the best deal you'll get here. Legally you don't exist anymore, so most of these girls would just squish you without a second thought, or worse. A few of them like to eat tinies, getting swallowed whole would be a really bad way to go. Others might try to turn you into little slaves to worship them, or torture you in any number of ways." More than one shiver went up your spine, and Alaina seemed to notice. "Oh sorry that was a bit much." She frowned, feeling guilty. "Here I'll make it up to you." she said, bringing you to her chest and placing you between her boobs. "There, now I don't have to hold you up to my face." You talked while she lounged until the sun started to set. She was nice, though she did tease you a few more times by implying she would eat you, step on you, or otherwise end your existence. When she packed up her stuff to leave she carried you with her to the changing room and put you in the pocket of her jeans so you couldn't watch. It got more than a little bumpy when she put them on. You couldn't see anything of the journey home from her pocket, but it was pleasantly soft and warm. When she got back home she pulled you out of her pocket and pulled out the bottom of a shoebox with a few holes cut out of it like doors. There was "furniture" inside, made of tissue paper and cardboard. It looked like a little girl's craft, a humiliating place to live, but you didn't exactly have any options. You were just Alaina's pet now. It wasn't particularly unpleasant being a pet, she treated you well and it was easy, but that was all you were, a pet. Occasionally one of her other pets would fall off the table she kept you on and she would step on them accidentally, crushing them like a bug. She clearly felt bad, but unless it was a new pet she was never broken up about it, and there were always more to replace them.
